Privacy Policy

Plando is a planning and collaboration app provided by Jiacheng Yao. This policy explains what information Plando collects, how it is used, and how to contact us about privacy questions.
Information Plando Collects
Plando stores the content you create in the app, such as tasks, lists, notes, dates, reminder settings, completion status, group names, group membership, invite codes, activity history, and Energy Matrix values.
If you choose to add images, Plando may store optimized copies of task proof photos, profile avatars, and group images. If you send a support or bug report, your email app may send your message, screenshots you attach, app version, device model, system version, and Plando user ID.
Plando creates an anonymous account identifier so cloud sync can work. You may optionally link the account with Sign in with Apple, Google, or email where those providers are available. Plando stores your display name and avatar choice for profile and group collaboration features.
If you subscribe to Plando Pro, purchases are handled by Apple. Plando receives and stores the subscription product, transaction, entitlement, and status information needed to unlock Pro features. Plando does not receive your payment card details.
AI Insights
When you request an AI insight, Plando sends aggregated task statistics, dates, counts, averages, and language preference to Plando's server-side AI function. Task titles, notes, assignees, and other free-text task content are not sent to the AI model for this feature.
How Information Is Used
Plando uses information to provide cloud sync, group collaboration, reminders, Pro entitlement checks, task proof features, support, issue diagnosis, safety and abuse prevention, and AI-generated planning reflections when requested.
Sharing
Plando uses service providers needed to operate the app, including Supabase for account, database, storage, and server functions, Apple for in-app purchases and subscriptions, and an AI provider for AI insights. Group members may see the group content, display names, avatars, tasks, and activity that are part of shared groups.
Plando does not use advertising SDKs, does not sell personal data, and does not use data for third-party advertising tracking.
Camera, Photos, Notifications, and Local Data
Camera access is used only when you scan a group invite QR code or take a task proof photo. Photo library access is used only when you choose an image. Local notifications are scheduled on your device for reminders; Plando does not use a remote push notification token for these reminders.
Retention and Deletion
Plando keeps app content while your account or local app data remains active, unless you delete content in the app or request deletion. Some records may be retained where needed for security, purchase entitlement, support, legal, or accounting reasons.
International Processing
The services used to operate Plando may process information in countries other than where you live. We use these services to provide the app globally.
Children
Plando is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your country. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Your Choices
You can control app permissions in iOS Settings, delete or edit content in Plando, manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID, and contact us to request help with access, correction, or deletion.
